Create engagement sequences to reward customers with selected promotions & rewards.
1. Set up a source
Install API connector, Web, iOS, or Proximity SDK trackers to get user events across channels.
2. Create a user segment
Create a Segment within Intempt, defining your segment with events that correspond to different steps in a sequence. For example:
- Customers who have made their first purchase
- Customers who have made at least 5 purchases
- Customers who have left a review for a purchased item
- Customers who have referred a store to a friend
- Customers who have filled a survey
3. Create relevant destinations for each segment in the sequence.
Map different segments to associated actions. Once users enter a segment, they will receive targeted messages and offers. For example:
- Customers who have made their first purchase -> Email with a discount code for next order
- Customers who have made at least 5 purchases -> SMS message with a early sales access invitation
- Customers who have left a review for a purchased item -> Email with a free shipping code
- Customers who have referred a store to a friend -> SMS with a dedicated hotline number
- Customers who have filled a survey -> notification sent to a service desk, agent sends a gift to the customer
